Hair, Zebras and Awesomeness

I My hair DIED!!!

Ok, so my hair didn't die.. I dyed my hair! :D lol
It doesn't look much different to me.. but mom says that it looks reder than it was before... which was NOT what I was  going for... oh well...it looks ok for now.. just have to wait and see how it does growing out.

So this is what it looked like before, and after. see, not much difference.

So this is a closeup of my hair.

Yups, so there you go! so I burnt my hand... and my arm xP

Ahh the dangers of ironing!!!

Also.. I bet your wondering what "Zebra's" had to do with this blog post. And the answer, Absolutely NOTHING! Hannah just wanted me to add that!

Welll... that's about it..

The Best Movie Ever! Along with the BEST Cocoa.

YYYYYEEYYYYYYY!!!! *SQUEEEEE* TANGLED!!!*claps hands*

So Laynie is this adorable little One year old who shares my joy in this Disney Princess movie. I would share pictures of her if I had some. You'll have to take my word, she is THE CUTEST little blondy you have EVER seen! She has chubby little cheeks, big blue eyes and the prettiest little smile.

Claps and dances, sings a little and sometimes she acts out the movie and cheers when Repunzel swings on her hair... Ohh, and layne does that too... its a lot cuter when layne does it.

My most favoritest movie in the entire WORLD is Tangled!! Yes... it is a kiddy Disney Princess movie, but it is THE BEST! (Hannah wants me to change the word "Kiddy" to Kitty...uhh no we aren't talking about baby cats, Hannah!)

The BEST, BEST, BEST Disney Princess Movie EVA! Ho YEA!

The best part of this movie of course is all the music! (which I have memorized) *sigh* Mandy Moore just does an AMAZING job doing the voice of this charter! I couldn't think of a better person to have done it!

Oh, and What's his face did a good job too...
I guess his name is Zachary Levi. I always fast forward the  parts with out Repunzel in them though... hehe

So today I made Cocoa for Mom, Hannah, and Noah. I decided to get all fancy-like and try something new...

TADA! Scrumptious-looking right?! Art you can drink! This cup was for my mamma. I lightly sprinkled cinnamon over the top and strategically placed two marshmallows along the side. As I was carrying it to my mom's room, the picture sightly shifted, but it looked better before.

I was just hoping that I wasn't gonna pull a goofy move and spill the cocoa all over the carpet or something!

YAAHHHH HOOO HOO HOO HOOOIEEE!!!!

So then I made one for Hannah

Which (heh, heh) I.. uhh ended up drinking.. ha!

I think it turned out quite lovely-like!

Noah wasn't too thrilled about his cup.. it was a butterfly:

He said he doesn't mind butterflies.. but HE felt that it looked more like a dragonfly than a butterfly. He informed me that he had a terrifying dream involving dragonflies just that night. I just mixed it up, and he was happy.

So, if you ever want a cup of art as well as YUM, I would be delighted to help you with that!

Have a Splendiforous Tuesday!!!

Drawing Stress

I NEVER EVER, EVER, EVER, would have thought I would put the words "Drawing" and "Stress" into the same blog title! Unless it was maybe something like "Drawing Relieves Stress"
Normally that is true! But this time, for some reason, my drawing just was not coming out the way I pictured it. Also, I had the hartest time thinking of "Sports-ie" things to incorporate into my drawing. The only "Sports" I have ever been exposed to is Dance! So.. yeah, I just had to put a ballerina tutu in there, because Ballet is the most graceful sport of them all!

[Note to any guys (mostly brothers) who say that Ballet is not a sport:

Guess what? It SO is!!! I'll tell you what... if you can stand on your tip toes, do the splits and then touch your nose to the ground, then I will allow you to.... If not... then I would suggest that you sir, shut your mouth!

If you change your mind and say "Well, ballet is a GIRLY sport then!!!"  Did you know that some football players take ballet to increase there agility an mobility

Okay, okay... so a picture of footballs player in tutus doesn't exactly help my case.... but I don't know about you... but I wouldn't want to be the one to ask one of those guys if Ballet was a girly sport!]

I finally completed the drawing that I needed to finish for my boss!  It took me two weeks... but YEYY it is now complete, and in the hands of Mrs. Tina.

Personally, I didn't think it came out the way I expected it to. I had a vision of what I wanted it to look like in my brain, and it came out a differently than that. But Mrs. Tina seemed to just adore it, so, I'm happy.

This is the picture for Mrs. Tina. It is supposed to spell out "Frankie"

I showed it to Ryan, (The manager) because he asked to see it, and I said "Do you see it?" but I think I should have specified what exactly he should be looking for because he just said,
"Yeah, I see it!" translation: "DUH.. i'm looking at it right now!"
Maybe he really did know what I was talking about, I don't know. When I first showed it to Tina though, I had to point out each letter... it kinda makes me feel awkward when I have to explain what my art is, because it makes me think "Am I the only one who can see it because I drew it? Or does it just take an artistic mind?"

Well, it's done now, I did my best, and the costumer was happy.... so that's all that matters! So quit arguing with me brain!!!

Can you say... RUDE?

Have you ever felt like people are inconsiderate? Today I had an experience with a very irritating person!
Perhaps I should start at the begining of the story in order to tell you properly!

Right now I am working on a drawing that someone hired me to do. After my boss saw the picture I did for Abigail Kraft, she decided that she wanted one for her friends daughter, Frankie.

This is the pic I drew for Abigail, it spells out her name.

So I have been kinda struggling for the past two weeks to try and think of things to put into the picture. It was easy for me to do for Abigail because she likes cheese, coffee, art, and her brother  Jared Kraft . As you can see from the picture, all those things are in there. (Including Jared, he's the little mouse with the pony tail.)
Since I don't know much about this family, or their daughter, I have been kind of stressing it and putting it off.

So today, I was laying in the middle of the living room floor to work on it.... and guess WHO decides to walk right up and lay right in the middle of what I was working on?

See for yourself! The audacity!
Yes, yes, I know I said "Person", but Quimby defiantly believes that she is sometimes!! Me thinks she needs an attitude adjustment!

The pic on the left shows Noah trying to move her, the pic on the right shows her turning around and getting in my face! See how scared I am?! (mostly scared she'll lick my face... ewwww!)

Perhaps... She feels that I'M the rude person, for laying in the middle of HER living room floor! Well guess what chicky? I was here first, and this living room ain't is big enough for the both of us! So scoot! (Hannah said I should have said "so BUTTERSCOTCH!")

Just on a random note...

Hannah is cute in her costume!

DRESS UP!

Guys don't like dressing up... do they?
Hannah and I have so much fun dressing up, and look for any and every excuse to put on crazy or fancy outfits! I do notice though, that guys don't seem to have as much enthusiasm to dress up as girls do. Sometimes... once in awhile, my mom would talk my dad into wearing something to match what the rest of us were dressed up as. (like one year we were the characters from Narnia, and another year we were from the wizard of Oz)

Another thing that I noticed, as I was looking through my mother's scrap books, was what I usually dressed up as! Haha I was either a princess, or a fairy like every year! Guess what I dressed up as this year?

A princess... sort of....

My mom said I look like a character named Jennsen from Legend of The Seeker

See the Resemblance? haha

This is me pretending to run through the forest with the "Box of Orden" which was actually a card game box... lol

At work, they called me a "Wench" (which was kinda funny cuz that is what my mom and dad predicted) behh! I want to be a PRINCESS!

At church, the Pastor's wife's name is Mrs. Janice, (you may be wondering what this has to do with this story... hold on, i'm getting to it!) she is one of the sweetest people I have EVER met! Mrs. Janice does not look like one of those intimidating people at all, she is a tiny lady with a sweet little voice and a sweet little face, but for some reason... when she says something had better get done in a certain way, at THAT moment.. everyone snaps into action.... something about the way she does it....*shudders* It's scary!

So Yesterday there were a bunch of teen guys outside the restaurant (Like a whole crowd) and they were hanging out by the dumpster when I was taking out the trash, they were not supposed to be back there, and who KNOWS what they were doing, but when I saw them, I turned on my Mrs. Janice and said, "Hey! You guys need to get out of here! This is not a party spot! Get!" And the took off with out any words!
May I just say... I GOT THE POWER! HA!

Then later, when I was waiting for mom and dad to pick me up, there were some other teens sitting there, and I heard them saying

"Where do we put these wrappers?"
"I don't know, just bury them in this ash tray haha!"

and I said, "Uhh, no! Your picking those up and putting them back into your little candy bags untill you can find a trash can! I am not going to be the one to clean that up tomorrow, so you can pick up your own mess."

They didn't even question me... they just did it! Ha!

Hannah decided to be The Queen of Hearts! How royal does she look?

OFF WITH HER HEAD!!!

At youth... Ian, John and Mark were the ghost of your past, present and future....

By the way, these pics were not edited... it's the black light that gave the spooky appearance.

Ian is the one holding the "Future" sign

Noah and Jordan wore mustaches and beards at youth.. it was awesome!

 Good times!

Hot Pink ALWAYS Makes you feel better!

WARNING: Reading this blog entry may result in a very rare, but serious illness, know as Cybertageous! Becoming Cybertageous may result in sudden bursts of random laughter, cracking up, belly ache, knee slapping, and in some cases even heads falling of and dying.

Today, I am sick! "WAHHH!"
No, not sick like, sick minded or gross, and not sick like AWESOME, sick like ill.

You know why I don't care? Do you even care to know? If you don't, then it is really your own fault for continuing to read!

Because... I have Hot Pink!!! Today,  I found this hot pink blouse that my mom bought for me for my 17th birthday. I lost it for awhile, and forgot about it... then today I looked in my sister's closet and saw it shoved in the corner!! Yes! Hot pink ROCKS!

Ok so lately, my dear sister Hannah, has been Bugging my dear friends,  Jared Kraft and Abigail Kraft

Hannah to Abigail:

Hannah: Dear Abby, this is han
I just wanted to let you know that my zebra phantom is going to assassinate you tonight. That is all BTW Kaite is giving me permission 2 do this

Me: Lol sorry she didn't know you don't like being called Abby lol

Abigail: Haha! That's ok, Hannah....find zebra assassinations by phantom zebra far more offensive than the name Abby. xD LOL.

I did know that Hannah was going to say that! My goodness!

THEN, she said to Jared...

Hannah: Jared this is Hannah
I just sent my Okapi on a plane to Kansas to CLOP your house! You do not know what day, what time, just be ready!

Wat you need to do, is to go to a foreign gas station, go into the convenient store and look for Okapi repellent spray!

Jared: Oh my gosh! Okapis clopped my pet reindeer last winter!!! How dare you send one to my house?!

Hannah: Next, go into your back yard, and look under all surrounding rocks for potato bugs and put them in a big box
Take them inside and spray them with your Okapi spray and spread the bugs around the house. Then take some ramen, , Eat the ramen with chopstics Because spoons are so last year! And eat that every day untill the Okapi comes... don't forget Adobo!

Jared: *writing all this down*

Hannah: I call my little friend O-Claw-pi!
Oops, here comes Kaitlyn!

Me: Omgoooshh I didn't know Hannah did this! Haha.. I'm sorry

Jared:I was pretty scared! Okapis killed my pet reindeer last winter...

Why, my dear sister, Why do you threaten my friends?
Now they both fear for there lives!

My mom shared something with me today which made me really happy! Basically, God has just given her so much peace and Joy lately, and told me some things that God specifically said to her! I won't say exactly, because I didn't ask her to talk about her personal conversation with me, but it was a huge answer to prayer! God is so good!

Well that is all for today... if you receive a mysterious message containing the words "Zebra" or "Okapi" be afraid....

Be very Afraid!

Feeling Sentamental

I guess you could call this a cheat since I didn't write this today... but, i was looking through my old blog and found this entry for my mom's birthday four years ago!

y mom’s birthday is coming up soon, but she doesn’t want me to announce the proud age (fancy that), so instead of what I normally do, write one that that I love about the person for each year (since in doing that I would give the age away), I will have to come up with something different!

Hmmm….  What could I do?

Oh, I know!  I can write a poem!

This may take awhile, but since you can’t see my thinking process, my erasing, my starting over…  this won’t take very long for YOU! I could very well leave for a year, with it unfinished, come back and finish it , and you would never know a thing.  But since all I have is a few days and not a year, I don’t think that method would work!

Yes, yes, I know what you’re thinking!  Stop that infernal rambling and get on with the  point!

Okay, okay! Back to the point.  Oh wait! What was the point? Yes, right, the poem! He! He! I have a dumb sense of humor!

Okay, time to get serious! :/
  • whispers under breath * seriously silly!  He! He!

So here’s the poem:

Thank-you, Mom,
  For endless days
Youve cared for me,
  In endless ways

Thanks for working
  Every hour,
To protect me from
  Evils power.

The days, they seem,
  To slip away
And sometimes our friendship
  Begins to fray.

I just want
  You to know,
Thanks for caring more,
    For how I grow.

Most of all
I want to thank you for
Guiding me upward,
  More and more.

For teaching me the way,
  That I should go,
Even when
  It hurts you so.

Please forgive
  My days
And every time
  It did replay.

Thanks for the lessons
  Youve taught to me,
Like saving myself
  For the man to be.

Thanks for guiding me
  All the way
Every time
  I start to stray.

Thank-You for not
  Giving up on me.
When I was surly,
  You prayed for me.

I wish your birthday
  Is warm and happy.
I hope this poem
  Was not too sappy!

Now go up to my mom and tell her she still looks young!  (Even though you probably haven’t seen her!  LOL!

HEARTS to my momma! <3 <3 <3

Before Breakfast

Right now, I am SO cold! It's not even that cold outside, but my insides shake much like the quivering of a leaf in the wind. My sister just noticed that I was shivering uncontrollably and ran to go get me gloves. I told her that gloves were not going to fix the fact that my whole body was and still is cold! My sister looked at me and then handed me the pair of soft red gloves anyway saying with vigorous gestures,
"But your HANDS are connected to your HEAD!"
I laughed and put them on for a little bit just to make her happy, but they don't match my outfit, and it's hard to type with gloves on. They are sitting right next to the laptop as I type. Hehe

This morning I had a terrifying dream right before I woke up, It was 5:00, but I decided to stay awake and text :D My mom told me later that day, that i should have come and woke up Daddy, because he accidently slept in! Oops!

I'm glad I did decide upon awaking early,  because if I had fallen back asleep I would be all groggy right now, but instead I feel great! (well except for being cold!)

Then before breakfast I decided to go for a walk, (I suppose I should have eaten breakfast first..)
I saw so many lovely things! I am so glad that I grabbed pictures!... grabbed, why did I say grabbed? I mean TOOK I took pictures, but I grabbed the camera!

He is Jealous for me,
Love is like a hurricane, I am a tree,
Bending beneath the weight of his wind and mercy.
When all of the sudden, I am unaware of there afflictions eclipsed by glory,
And I realize just how beautiful you are,
And how great your affections are for me.

Oh, how he loves us so,
Oh how he loves us, how he loves us so!

How He Loves Lyrics
Artist(Band):David Crowder Band

You can imagine how I feel about that!

Pretty darn happy!

Good Morning little DUCKIES! I hope your not cold swimming out there!

You know, this water looks like it might be better for walking on... I bet if we could have a reenactment of Peter walking on the water with Jesus, I imaging it here!
Although, it takes greater faith to walk on stormy waters then on peaceful waters.

If your wondering why I am looking at my had like that, its not because I think I need a manicure, (Although, I DO my nails and cuticles are so unkempt) it is because my hands are FREEEEZING!!!!

Abigail Kraft!!! You need to live in the house with the "Kraft" sign!!! That way we can drink lattes together and take lots of pictures!!!!
Although, the drink I am holding in that pic was actually a pumpkin spice milkshake! Mostly because I don't think I should be having caffeine again for awhile! I felt the effects of the last one I had for like three days afterwards, but also mostly (yes I know I said mostly twice, mother) because,

I've always had a thing for...

MILK SHAKES!

While waiting for mom to come out of the post office, Hanna sits there dreaming about zebras, and Noah chomps on his lollipop and plays with his awesome 3DS

Pray you all have the loveliest of lovely days lovelies!!!
